Long Beach's Interactive Summer Preschool Programs

We have so many options: Experience Art, Music, STEM, Physical Education, Dinosaurs, Life on a Farm, Multiple Cultures, and Ocean Adventures, all in one spot with convenient, licensed teachers and mentors.

Children between the ages of 2-5 are experiencing a critical point in their life where they are absorbing everything like a sponge. That’s why Launch Pad Learning in Long Beach offers some of the most interactive summer preschool programs in Los Angeles County and beyond! Our summer program typically begins the week after graduation in June, a convenient option for children from Long Beach, Paramount, Lakewood, Bellflower, Downey, Lynwood, Each Rancho Dominguez, Norwalk, Compton, East Compton, and Artesia.
Every week, our team at Launch Pad creates immersive and engaging experiences for kids to explore their creativity and ignite a sense of adventure. Each week is centered around a theme where we partner with local businesses and public centers for an in-house field trip.
What we've done in Hawthorne ...
We have had the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium, the Reptile People, Farm Friendz, and a kid’s musician – among others – visit our campus. These in-house field trips allow children to learn, explore, and imagine without the added risk of organized travel. One great example of a past event we did was a classic summer water day when the children brought their swimsuits and water shoes to play in the sprinkler and wading pool – plus other water activities.
Launch Pad ended the summer with a “drive-in” movie night where we watched Toy Story under the stars.
Hands-On STEM Activities for Los Angeles Preschoolers
If you want your children to have hands-on experience with STEM activities from an early age, Launch Pad Learning summer programs is a great way to encourage and foster learning in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math fields.
A great example of a STEM activity we have done with our children is when a STEM club from El Camino College stopped by one week with some robots and other “toys” that the children could play with and inquire about. The heart of Launch Pad’s mission is to provide a nurturing and educational environment for children all year long.
